Ron earned his private ticket in 1973.  He recently returned to the sky in his Preceptor Super Pup, with a VW engine.  He enjoys airport hopping and the friendship of other pilots.  Ron is a retired educator who enjoys reading, ham radio and loafing at the lake, in addition to flying.  He bases the aircraft at Columbia Owens Downtown Airport (KCUB).
