Bob Ethridge is a longtime general aviation pilot with many flight hours who has previously owned two Cessna 182s. He has recently become interested in sport aircraft. For quite some time, he had been in the "looking" stages.

Then, after considering many different types of aircraft, Bob decided that he liked the Slip Stream series of aircraft. On June 24-25, 2003, Bob made a trip to Pontotoc, Mississippi and made his decision. After an impressive demo, some serious consideration and a little negotiation, he purchased this beautiful, top-of-the-line, factory-built Genesis aircraft shown above. Although it originally came with a MZ202 Zanzoterra engine, Bob opted to install a Verner 4-cycle engine after the purchase.
[Note: I (Randy) had the pleasure of making the trip with Bob. In addition to seeing this Genesis and several other nice aircraft, we also visited Elvis Presley's birthplace located only a short distance to the east in Tupelo, Mississippi.]
Here is another shot of proud owner, Bob, with his Genesis, shown from the rear. It would be hard to find a more immaculate plane! It has completely enclosed cockpit with removable doors plus many other goodies too numerous to mention here.
Above, Bob familiarizes himself with the instrumentation from inside the cockpit. He also got a radio, a headset and other goodies in the deal. The above series of photos were taken at the airport in Pontotoc.
The picture above and the ones below were taken at Pelion Corporate Airport some time later ... after the new engine installation. Here, Bob is shown fast taxiing the plane.
Above, Bob has the nosewheel off the ground ... and shortly afterwards, actually broke ground and flew it in ground effect. Since these photos were taken, Bob has flown the plane quite often. He and his plane are now based at Trenton, SC.
